Sian G. Jones-Jobst, MD

Dr. Jones-Jobst is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with over two decades of experience in primary care pediatrics.

Her areas of special interest include preventive health maintenance, early childhood development, physician wellness, practice management, and alternative payment models in primary care. Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and a belief that the best care emerges from curiosity, humility, and a commitment to continuous learning. As a parent, pediatrician, and community member, she believes that gratitude, acceptance, and kindness are not only foundations of personal well-being, but essential qualities of effective leadership and meaningful patient care.

Dr. Jones-Jobst has been a prominent voice in pediatric advocacy at both the state and national levels. She currently serves as President of Complete Children’s Health and sits on the Payer Advocacy Advisory Committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has served multiple terms on the Nebraska Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics Executive Board and was appointed by the Governor to the Nebraska Early Childhood Interagency Coordinating Council from 2010–16. Her advocacy efforts have been recognized with the AAP Chapter VI Achievement Award in 2021, the Nebraska Chapter Special Achievement Award in 2024, and the Physician of the Year Award from the Nebraska Medical Association in 2024.

Her commitment to community health is reflected in her board service across a range of children’s and community health organizations, including the Lancaster County Medical Association, LifeBridge Nebraska, OneHealth’s Accountable Care Organization, the Bryan Foundation , and the United Healthcare Children’s Fund Western Regional Board.
Dr. Jones-Jobst immigrated from the United Kingdom to the United States with her parents in 1974, spending most of her childhood in Oregon and Southern California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in biophysics from the Johns Hopkins University before returning to California to complete her Doctor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. She completed her residency training in general pediatrics at the Creighton–Nebraska Health Foundation, where she served as Chief Resident of Pediatrics. During those formative years, she and her husband fell in love with Nebraska and decided to raise their family here. In 2004, she found her professional home at Complete Children’s Health, an innovative, growth-oriented practice built on the belief that families, patients, and healthcare providers are strongest when working together as a team with the common goal of child and adolescent wellness.

In her spare time, Dr. Jones-Jobst enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their daughters, watching college sports, downhill skiing, traveling, and cooking (though her family has learned to keep the takeout menus close at hand!).
