SONYA M. REYNOLDS, MD
Dr. Sonya Reynolds returned home to Lincoln and joined Complete Children’s Health in 2011 following her pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Originally a graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School (go Knights!), Dr. Reynolds was drawn back to the area to serve the local community and begin to form lasting relationships with families.
She is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and has served as a health advocate for children in a variety of volunteer capacities as well. She was part of the Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Association for Families for five years and now continues serving actively on the Medical Outreach committee.
She serves our local school district as a volunteer on the Lincoln Public Schools Sports Medical Advisory Committee advocating for the success and safety of all student athletes.
When she is not working, you may find her wrapped in a blanket in a cold rink watching her sons play hockey or under a sun umbrella watching her youngest son as catcher during a baseball game or, at least one week in the summer, traveling to Canada to visit family.
