New Exercise Videos for Youth: Strength Training Made Simple and Fun

We’re excited to announce the release of our brand-new exercise video series designed specifically for youth! This collection of 13 videos is crafted to introduce young people to the world of strength training in a safe, engaging, and educational way. Whether you’re looking to target upper or lower body strength, or get a full-body workout, these videos have you covered. These exercise videos were made possible through a CATCH Grant from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

What’s Inside the Series?

The series is divided into three main categories, ensuring that every young athlete can find a workout that suits their needs:

  1. Upper Body Workouts
    • Focus on building strength in the arms, shoulders, chest, and back.
    • Exercises include push-ups, dumbbell presses, resistance bands and more.
  2. Lower Body Workouts
    • Designed to strengthen the legs, hips, and glutes.
    • Includes squats, lunges, resistance bands, and other effective moves.
  3. Full Body Workouts
    • These sessions combine upper and lower body exercises for a comprehensive workout.
    • Ideal for overall strength, endurance, and coordination.

Variety of Equipment Options

Understanding that not everyone has access to the same equipment, our videos are designed to be flexible:

  • Dumbbells: Perfect for those who have access to light weights and want to add extra resistance.
  • Resistance Bands: A great alternative to weights, resistance bands are portable and versatile, offering a different type of muscle challenge.
  • Bodyweight Only: No equipment? No problem! These exercises rely solely on body weight, making them accessible to everyone, anytime, anywhere.

Why Strength Training for Youth?

Strength training offers numerous benefits for young people, including improved muscle strength, better body coordination, and enhanced athletic performance. It also helps in building confidence, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and laying the foundation for lifelong fitness habits.
